Judges
During the two-week clinic, a distinguished group of partners presides over the three days of the actual trial. These judges provide a wealth of immediate feedback and invaluable first-hand knowledge.

Coaches
You'll become well-acquainted with the two coaches with whom you'll work during the program - one coach for each week. These are the men and women with whom you'll prepare, practice before, try out your opening argument and brainstorm the questions to stump opposing council. Many of the coaches started at Howrey as Bootcamp Summer Associates. You'll also hear firsthand about their experiences at Howrey. No other firm or summer program offers this level of personal and professional interaction.

Witnesses
The witnesses are Howrey associates who work closely with you and get into character for trial. You'll have the chance to work with two witnesses as part of your trial experience. Your first witness will be introduced to you prior to your deposition. You'll prep your witness and conduct the deposition. You'll have the opportunity to prep your second witness for direct examination during the trial. You'll also take a cross-examination on a third witness.

Critiquers
Each exercise [see schedule] is critiqued by a partner at the firm. These individuals provide immediate, in-depth feedback on your performance, analyzing your strengths, those situations when you shine, as well as providing tips for improving your courtroom skills. From arguing a discovery motion, to taking a deposition, to giving your closing argument, you can count on constant feedback and encouragement.

These are just some of the people with whom you'll be living and learning during your time with us. You'll live the life of a litigator for two weeks with both your peers and professionals who will teach and mentor you throughout the process, providing ongoing support and encouragement.

With a faculty consisting of 27 Partners and 22 Associates, no other program can come close to offering the depth and breadth of insights and experiences awaiting you at Howrey Bootcamp®.
